Not much time to write today! I must get to sleep for tomorrow.
Today was a very big day. I walked at least 40 kilometers to reach the city of Burgos. I had some amazing company along the way! I don’t know if I’ve mentioned Sandra before, but she’s a woman from Lithuania and she’s very kind. She offered me an orange and when we stopped to wait for Hailee she got me a lemonade!
You see, I’m kind of in a group of 5 pilgrims. We shared contacts and we look out for each other when we are close. We usually stay at the same hostels every night, but it depends. Sometimes we split up, and that’s totally fine. But our paths keep colliding. Just today I caught up to Hailee, and then Sandra later on.
We walked the long ways to Burgos. I think it’s the biggest city I’ve been in thus far. Once we reached the city, we had to walk another 6 kilometers into the heart of the city to reach the pilgrim hostel.
Man, this is amazing! I made myself a nice, big, dinner tonight. I ate well. I’m learning how to take care of myself! I also bought a stronger belt, because the one I’ve been using is stretchy and a little bit flimsy. I also had the idea to get makeshift scabbards for my walking sticks. I attached them to the belt. It works! Let’s see how it holds up tomorrow.
Pictures and videos are below. I must go to bed. No time to describe them!

I like that you called your companions “5 piligrams” it is a poetic way to capture the experience you are having
